A Vegas Run Indian Casino Comes To Town
Stop The Casino 101, Cows Not Casinos, and No Las Vegas are just some of the websites that are spreading like a rash over Sonoma County culturally Christian and old fashion conservative circles that generally hate what they fear. Indian Gaming is the latest victim of this blind judgment that has been brought to our mostly agricultural and suburban community.

I oppose the idea of the Indian Sovereign Nationship, yet I very much do not oppose a casino coming to our area. As a Christian and a new fashion conservative, I choose to look from a fiscal perspective, the business generated and traffic of tourist coming north from the urban communities of San Francisco and Oakland will nourish a community in turning. I estimate close to 3,000 long-term jobs will be created and a countless number of temporary work will take place in the building of the roads and structures of this huge project. Not to mention the resurgence of business hiring spurred by the flow of commerce lead by this one business.

Opposition groups appear jealous of the money the was lobbied to the Rohnert Park City Council and the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and quote rhetoric of social discourse and deviance that will arise out of such a business entering this community. A community that is just south of land full of Indian Casinos, that has not taken on the aforementioned characteristics but rather has been transformed in a world renowned wine country. The fears express are misled, misleading and quick to judge a cultural issue that is rooted in a deeper well.

Let us fight the racial segregation that allows such a thing, in the 21st century, as Indian Sovereignty.
